Just a few pics from me testing some snow products this afternoon. I am now upto 10 hours of Train meetings this weekend already so its really cut into the modelling time.

I have seen somewhere that they use heaters on switches in Canada. Would this be an available excuse to not use snow around the point blades/moving parts to avoid gunging them up and making them stick?

Yes the mainline has heaters the WSOR doesn’t and they are cleared by a road crew.

Gordy, the bad news is the snow does not stay this white very long particularly in an industrial setting with trains passing by. So you will need to learn how to weather snow. I am interested in watching this play out. Living in Minnesota, I see enough snow so I will not be modeling a winter scene.
